かぼちゃは日本には1573年頃にポルトガルから伝来し、日本中に広がったといわれています。
また、冬至には縁起物として食する文化もあり、柚子とともに冬の風物詩となっています。
彼の根付は現代人に好まれるサイズで、作品のモチーフも大変人気があります。
独学で根付を作り始めコツコツと制作販売しています。 京都在住。
