題名にある「成願」とは、一切衆生を救うと仏や菩薩が立てた誓いが成就すること、または真剣に心に秘めた願いが成就することを指します。
夢の一字に向かって少しずつ登っていくお坊さんたちは、とてもにこやかで楽しそうな表情をしています。
飽きの来ない作品です。

馬骨子才林
1940年京都生まれ。
細々と京の街中に住み、年を重ねつつ戯描と笑止、独自の墨描にて、我道を趣くまま、少々の荷を背負いながらぼつぼつと歩く、他に書き記し誇れることもなく、只、撲心の一筆であればと思っております。

The word "Sei-gan" in the title refers to the fulfillment of a vow made by a Buddha or Bodhisattva to save all beings, or the fulfillment of a wish earnestly held in one's heart.
The monks, who are gradually climbing toward the single character of "dream," look very smiling and happy.
It is a work of art that you will never get tired of.

I have lived in Kyoto for many years, drawing pictures in a playful way. I have spent my life with my own unique ink drawings, following my own path and carrying a little burden on my back.
I have nothing else to write down and be proud of, and I will continue to draw with an unadorned heart.
